Salma Mohammad Ali

Welcome to my website! My name is Salma, and I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Georgia State University and a Graduate Research Assistant with the Georgia Policy Labs.

My primary research interests are in labor and education economics. In my current research, I use quasi-experimental methods to study programs, policies, and factors that can improve educational outcomes among K-12 and college students.

I am on the 2025-26 job market.
